The macroscopic analysis of welded joints on metallic materials allows to verify the shape and quality of the welds. Following an accurate preparation of the surfaces through cleaning, smoothing and acid etching in order to highlight the structure, the analysis allows to detect the characteristic areas and dimensions of the weld and any defects deriving from the welding process.
